Miranda Kerr Left In Neck Brace After Crash

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has been left wearing a neck brace after she was involved in a car crash.

The 29-year-old wife of British actor Orlando Bloom was spotted out in Los Angeles on Tuesday night wearing the plastic brace, attempting to cover it with a scarf.

The Sydney-born model's spokeswoman Annie Kelly confirmed she had been in an accident on a motorway in the city on Monday.

It is understood that she was in a car with an assistant when her vehicle was rammed by another.

It has been reported that the driver of the other car was arrested and may face charges for reckless driving.

Miss Kelly told Australia's 9 News website: "She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious."

Kerr's son Flynn was not with her in the car at the time, the agent added, but the model had to undergo MRI scans as a result of the accident.

The model, who tweets regularly, has made no public statement on the matter.

Her last posts to Twitter were a picture of a rose from her garden and a comment on the weather in LA on Monday, but it is not known if these were made before the accident.

Kerr is one of the world's most photographed women. She is one of the main faces for Victoria's Secret and Mango, as well as the founder of her own cosmetics range Kora Organics.

She leapt to fame after signing a lucrative contract with the cosmetics brand Maybelline in New York in 2006 and then added to her profile by replacing Giselle Bundchen as one of the Victoria's Secret Angels a year later.

The model married Pirates Of The Carribean star Bloom in 2010 and had her first child with him in 2011.

She gave their child Flynn the middle name Christopher after her first boyfriend, Christopher Middlebrook, who died in a car crash when the pair were 15.
