Former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic will be formally charged with genocide at his war crimes tribunal this Friday.
He was extradited to the Netherlands from Serbia on Tuesday after 16 years on the run, and arrived at the Hague in the evening.
Mladic will be asked to enter a plea on Friday morning. His initial court appearance is scheduled for 8am.
Mladic was indicted over the siege of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo and the massacre of 8,000 Muslim men and boys in the town of Srebrenica.
