A real home from home: Chinese bottle collector carries lightweight house in his back wherever he goes

They say moving house is one of life's most stressful experiences - but not for this resourceful Chinese homeowner.

Liu Lingchao takes the concept of the mobile home literally - by hauling his house around everywhere he goes on his back.

Liu constantly travels around the country collecting a selling recyclable beverage bottles.

And to save money, his crude 60kg shed made from bamboo, plastic film and sheets, goes wherever he does.

Liu, from southern China’'s Guangxi Province, says he first made the portable house around five years ago.

He said: 'I can move anywhere I want to go. It's an easy decision.'

'It saves me a lot of money on the journey. I feel free, I can go wherever I want to go, and I live on my own.”'
