New York aerial pictures: Jason Hawkes bird's eye view of the Big Apple
Jason Hawkes' 'top-down' images show parts of the Big Apple in a completely new light.
Last week we showed you the high-flying work of photographer Jason Hawkes, who spent months soaring over London capturing stunning aerial pictures.
The globe-trotting snapper has also taken his bird's eye picture project Stateside.
He made this impressive collection of aerial images of New York, showing many Big Apple landmarks from a different perspective.
His pictures show top-down views of One World Trade Center, the recently-completed 104-storey, 541m skyscraper.
Other longstanding landmarks like the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty also feature.
Jason's aerial snaps also give a fascinating new viewpoint of Central Park, Battery Park, the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan's Financial District.
