NFL-Manning adds to touchdown record as Broncos beat Chargers

Oct 23 (Reuters) - Denver quarterback Peyton Manning added three more touchdowns to his career record as the Broncos beat the San Diego Padres 35-21 in a National Football League game on Thursday. Four days after overtaking Brett Favre as the leader on the all-time list, Manning took his career touchdown total to 513 as the Broncos posted another impressive home victory. All three of Manning's touchdown passes were to wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. The Broncos improved to 6-1 on the season, the best record in the AFC and tied for the best record in the league with the Dallas Cowboys. The Chargers fell to 5-3 for the season, second behind Denver in the AFC West. (Reporting By Andrew Both in Cary, North Carolina)
