    Pardew Handed Two-Match Ban

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has been given a two-match touchline ban and fined £20,000 by the Football Association.

Pardew, who requested a personal hearing, accepted a charge of improper conduct following an incident during Newcastle's match against Tottenham on August 18.

The Newcastle boss was sent off during his side's 2-1 win after he pushed linesman Peter Kirkup after claiming the ball had gone out of play during a Spurs attack.

Pardew's suspension will take place with immediate effect, meaning the Newcastle manager will be forced to sit in the stands during the next two Premier League matches against Everton and Norwich.
