Yeh, Yeh, if you catch them (thats if), the sentence will be so little that it will not deter them again, we all seem to miss the point including the police, by letting these shits off with lightweight sentences so that they can be out and about reoffending with the rest of there shithead mates !!, the police catch them and the courts do very little to deter them maybe stop cutting the sentence in half .... Why, my boss asks me to do a full week at work he does not let me wonder off midweek !!!!, why give 10 years if you serve only 5, what is the perpose of that !!!!!!

nothing to do with grand ideas of social discontent , injustice and revolution. this was just trash taking advantage of a situation. the only injustice here is that orrdinary, decent people have to suffer.

Surprised? Children here have a lot of rights - which is good - but no one has taught a large swathe of young people that they also have responsibilities. Parents can't / won't / daren't control them, teachers and police daren't use force. Many families have no background of a religious faith where morals and Respect are taught on a weekly / daily basis, - going to prison is not dreaded, it will bring them the respect of their peers. As the young say, 'Wicked!' has become acceptable and desirable. What to do next?

Surprised? Great swathes of our children have no firm guide lines.They have many rights but no responsibilities. Parents can't / won't / daren't discipline them. Teachers and police have no right to control them.They don't have to support any one, they don't have to work - they'll get enough money from those who do work to get by and will get more one way or another. They are not brought up in any faith so have no need to bother about morals or Respect. What to do with these feral youths ????

What’s going on? Let’s break things down…..

Following WW1 with the threat of civil war in Ireland and the existence of Soviet Russia, in order to maintain hegemony the right to vote was reluctantly given to all men and some women in 1918. It was not until 1969 that all people over 18 received suffrage. Post WW2 with the presence of Communism throughout Eastern Europe and the real threat of communism in the west concessions were giving to the middle and working class, like the NHS, university grants, wider access to education, social welfare etc etc.

With the end of the cold war and Thatcher’s dissolution of the TUs there was no longer any viable ‘communist’ threat and therefore no need for the rich to appease the rest of us. Consequently capitalism with gloves off is the order of the day. Millionaire investment bankers created the financial crisis and are rewarded with bailout money while the average tax payer suffers. The rich corporations need a large body of desperate workers (hence intentional lapses in immigration control) who earn just enough to be passive consumers.

What we are witnessing in the UK, US and Europe is an all out attack on the middle and working classes. With austerity measures your life will get tougher, but those at the top will enjoy ever more luxury, the nobility is back with vengeance. Meanwhile with each generation our children will get dumber and dumber as access to decent schools, teachers and universities is denied. Without education it is impossible to comprehend the modern geopolitical economy let alone fight against it. That's why now is the time to stand up and draw a line in the sand.
