UK riots in pictures

Rioting has broken out across the country for the last three nights after the shooting of Mark Duggan in Tottenham on Thursday evening. Disruption began on Saturday night as a group of around 300 gathered outside Tottenham police station demanding 'justice'. Looting and arson attacks ensued across Tottenham, Enfield, Walthamstow and Brixton on Saturday and Sunday with the Met police attempting to restore order. Unrest continued on Monday across London while parts of Birmingham, Liverpool, Nottingham and Bristol also saw trouble.

      message to the bloody prat Andrew ... why not shake yer bloody anti-police head and think what was the bloody idiot doing taking a small child to a danger zone instead of spouting off about the policeman who's adrenaline was probably raging because of the situation and who was only trying to do his job… as for your comments about he will be promoted to sergeant or police commissioner - GROW UP!!

      On SKY i watched a man being Proded repeatedly with a Baton to make him go down the road, & he had just been sitting on a wall with a Woman & a wee child. The Guy should have wrapped the Pigs baton & shield up his Arse.
      Will the Officer be reprimanded if the guy wasn't a thug.. NO.. he'll be promoted To sargent or police Commisioner!!

        Just too many spectators. My view is, if you're on the street in the war zone then you should be treated as a combatant and dealt with accordingly. Go home and watch TV is you're interested.
