Things go bump in the night, but it also seems that things go bump in the day too. When we heard that a house in Coventry was experiencing some paranormal activity, we couldn’t help but show the viral video of the eerie happenings filmed in an 11-year-old’s bedroom.

The Manning family claimed to be plagued by mysterious disturbances since moving into the council-rented home last year. After reporting incidences of lights switching on and off, pots moving, drawers opening and doors slamming shut and claiming that the ghost had killed their dog, careworker Lisa Manning took it upon herself to catch the ghost in action in March.

A spokeswoman from the letting agent told Yahoo! News that there was no record of any other problems from other tenants, but a medium said she felt the presence of the ghost. Whether the haunting was real or fake, the story was still one of the most popular odd stories of the year.
