Portraits from Afghan frontline show female soldiers' perspective of conflict zone

Photojournalist Alison Baskerville's insightful collection offers a glimpse into life in Afghanistan for female soldiers. Her gallery, 'The White Picture - The Hidden World of Women in Combat' captures the work and living conditions of female soldiers in the combat zone. Her photographs are being exhibited by the Royal British Legion at the Oxo Tower Wharf on London's South Bank from Thursday October 25.
