And to say that computer games turned him into this killer is wrong! Ive played (and many of my friends) Graphic violent computer games for at least 25 years, Doom 1,2,3 golden axe, street fighter1,2,3,4, mortal kombat 1,2,trillogy, killer instinct, Painkiller, Dead Space, Hitman, Resident Evil 1,2,3,4,5, Grand Theft Autos and i have never inflicted any suffering or discomfort to any living thing on this planet and NEVER will. Its a Shame that this kids mental illness wasn't discovered earlier, this tragedy could have been avoided!

I'd agree that video games and in particular online games should be more strictly monitored in terms of audience and content, as repeated exposure is bound to have some sort of impression on young minds.

However, I can't help thinking the gaming element here is to some extent co-incidental. The kid is prepared to kill for a few dollars, and even thought ahead to make it look like an accident so he wouldn't get in trouble. Cold, calculating, with no regard to anyone but himself.

He's psychopath. He'd probably have found some other reason to kill eventually. Not that that's any consolation tho the poor girls family....

he's a teen and should be treated like one and should be given a less sentence than a normal adult. Or Maybe he is having a mental problem. a Doctor should see to it that he is checked before anything is done

I here to many people coming out with the above as long as others flick the switch. Everyone who has kill will tell you they went over the line and they know there is a price to pay. i was just flicking through pages on the internet when this hidious act of absolute EVIL caught my attention i am a father of three rangeing from 11 to 3 i am completley shocked and appalled if i had my way disturbed little wazerks like this should not b put in prison they should b exicuted when found guilty by a jury.

If I was his father (I am Vietnamese), I would break his two legs, so that he would never be able to walk into an internet caf��. And I would do anything to ease the pain of the girl's family.
