Paid for it while here on benefits!

K not everyone loves to be a charity case. Maybe the hard working guy has never even been to the UK. Probably doesn't even know that there are some people on earth who don't work, but live on benefits even if they are neither disabled or aged. Personaly I hated the dependency and the laziness I saw in the UK.

firstly, it's staff not the owner (and there are two other people up there) and secondly, it's alright, he does have a rope :) (you can make it out on the photo)
      sloppy journalism ?

      • Chris 3 months ago
Firstly how do you know it's not the owner - or are you just assuming the owner wouldn't be on his own roof? Secondly why is it sloppy journalism? There's no suggestion he's in danger - it justs says he '...slips as he clears snow...'.

'...sloppy journalism ?' Is there any other kind?

how did you think they did it,with a hairdryer?
      • Edward V 3 months ago
You are guessing! What you can't see is that someone WAS holding a rope but it sheered and in a micro second he will hit the ground.
The camera doesn't always tell the truth.

Newspaper journalists should not be relying on spellchecking machines, which allow these US English homophones into the language.
