Robbie Williams Posts First Pic Of Baby Girl

Robbie Williams has given the world its first glimpse of his baby daughter, by posting a photograph of the child curled up asleep on his chest.

The Take That star looked a touch bleary-eyed as he posed for the picture with newborn Theodora Rose nestling in his arms.

Williams became a father for the first time on Tuesday when wife Ayda Field gave birth to their 7lb 4oz youngster, affectionately known as Teddy, in London.

In a caption to the picture, the 38-year-old told fans: "Daddy's second nappy change ... Teddy's second day on the planet."

The couple have been besieged with congratulations since the child's birth.

Williams previously said he did not want to bring his daughter up in Los Angeles, where the couple currently live.

"I don't want to educate our baby in LA because I would much prefer her to have English sensibilities," he said.

"I want the baby to have an English passport, we're still figuring out exactly whereabouts the baby is going to be brought up.

"I had a conversation with the wife last night about where we're going to end up, but we still don't know."

Williams and Field, a Turkish-American actress, have been together for five years and were married two years ago.

Theodora is their first child. The star has just wrapped up a series of small shows around the UK prior to the birth at London's Portland Clinic.
