NEAR HAWIJA - A roadside bomb killed two U.S. backed neighbourhood patrol members and wounded two others when it struck their patrol near Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) - (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 12:30 p.m. British time on Wednesday.

BAGHDAD - Thirty-two people were killed and 107 others wounded on Tuesday in Sadr City, eastern Baghdad, police and hospital sources said.

BAGHDAD - One U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb which struck his vehicle on Tuesday in northwestern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - One U.S. soldier died of wounds sustained in a small arms fire attack by insurgents on Tuesday in northwestern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - Two mortar bombs wounded four people in Bayaa district in southern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Six people were wounded by two mortar bombs in the Hay al-Amil district, southwestern Baghdad, police said.

NEAR KUT - Gunmen stormed a house and killed one woman in the west of the city of Kut, 170 km (105 miles) southeast of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Five bodies were found in different districts across Baghdad on Tuesday, police said.

MOSUL - One body was found in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, on Tuesday, police said.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces captured two wanted men and detained two additional suspects while targeting al Qaeda in Iraq operatives in northern Iraq on Wednesday, the U.S. military said.

TIKRIT - Police found two bodies of a man and his wife with gunshot wounds and signs of torture in southern Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
