Tributes have flooded in for a Scottish schoolboy who died after suffering head injuries in an alleged school fight.
Another 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has appeared in court in Glasgow, charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life in relation to Euan Craig's death.
On a Facebook site set up in Euan's memory, the teenager's classmates have written emotional messages to their friend.
One wrote: "R.I.P wee man best pal a ever had :( god only takes the best."
A friend added: "Still in complete shock, you didn't deserve any of this euan.. All my thoughts go out to your family, taken from earth but never our hearts.. Sleep tight."
Another wrote: "RiP euan its sad to lose you mate but u are in a better place now :'( gone but never forgotten xxx the angels will take care of you now xxxxxxxx."
The headteacher at the school said: "The whole school community feels a deep sense of grief and our thoughts are with his family at this devastating time. We are doing everything we can to support all of our young people and staff."
Euan was rushed to hospital at about 11.45am on Wednesday, but died on Thursday afternoon at the Southern General hospital in Glasgow.
A 14-year-old boy appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday morning. He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail.
A spokesman from Strathclyde Police said: "Euan Craig died within the Southern General Hospital shortly after noon on Thursday.
"Sympathies are extended to his family. A full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
