Whitney Houston has been honoured with a final send-off from some of the biggest names in film and music.
Stars including Halle Berry, Britney Spears, Jennifer Hudson and Usher paid tribute to the late "unforgettable" singer at the We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston.
Oscar-winning star Berry told the audience: "She inspired a generation of little girls and women to believe in their own dream and to know that they had within themselves the greatest gift of all.
"I was one of those little girls who then became a woman who never ever, ever, stopped loving Whitney Houston."
The event was attended by Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was joined by boyfriend Nick Gordon and record label executive Clive Davis who discovered Whitney.
But the singer's mother, Cissy, and her brother Gary were notably absent from the tribute show, which will be televised next month.
Whitney's body was discovered in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills in February, the night before the Grammy awards.
She was found to have drowned accidently after taking cocaine. Other drugs, including marijuana, were also found in her system.
At the final send-off show, Jennifer Hudson channelled Whitney's 80s style, singing I'm Every Woman, How Will I Know and I Wanna Dance With Somebody with big hair and a sparkly blazer.
But I Will Always Love You, which Hudson sang at the hastily arranged tribute during the Grammy awards in February, was left to Whitney, who was shown performing the hit at the 1994 Grammys.
Spears shared her memories of the singer, revealing that it was her rendition of Whitney's I Have Nothing that secured her the record deal that started her career.
R&B star Usher sang I Believe In You And Me while gospel singers Cece Winans and Yolanda Adams' performance of Count On Me had Whitney's family in tears.
