Box office blockbuster, Titanic, is to be re-released in cinemas worldwide, in 3D.
It is 15 years since the film was first released to huge success and went on to win 11 Academy Awards.
Director, James Cameron, believes: "There's a whole generation that's never seen Titanic as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen."
The planned 2012 worldwide premiere has significant meaning for several reasons. It will mark the centennial of the ship's fateful voyage and April 10 was the date the vessel first set off.
Titanic 3D is scheduled for release next year, on April 6.
