Nana Meriwether: Prince Harry Should Marry Me

Miss USA 2012 Nana Meriwether has told Sky News she and Prince Harry "should totally get married."

The remarks were made by the American beauty queen at a reception for the Prince's Foundation.

"I heard he's pretty tall too, so perhaps we should get married", added the South African-born 27-year-old.

Other celebrities joined Captain Harry Wales at the star-studded event, including pop star Will.i.am who likened the Prince to comic book superhero 'Iron Man'.

"I'm going to get my tech guys to make him a special suit so Prince Harry can fly around the world," he said.

Before the evening was even underway, \$500,000 had been raised for causes linked to Harry's Foundation in the US.

Today Prince Harry ends his seven-day tour of the United States with the Sentebale Polo Cup in Connecticut.

The cup aims to raise money for the Prince's Lesotho-based Sentebale charity, which helps child victims of poverty and HIV/AIDS.

Sentebale means 'forget-me-not', and was named in honour of Captain Harry Wales' mother Diana, Princess of Wales.

The event follows a day in which the 28-year-old Prince visited areas affected by Superstorm Sandy and dropped in to Harlem to play baseball with underprivileged children.

"I visited the project in Harlem this afternoon, and met many of these young people whose lives are being changed through the power of sport," the Prince told guests at the evening fundraiser.

"As they learn and grow under the careful guidance of Harlem RBI, they represent living proof of what can be achieved. It was truly up-lifting."

The Apache co-pilot gunner hit a string of home runs following a training session given by nine-year-old Jeremiah Garcia.

"I was talking to the Prince and was teaching him how to hit the ball, and it really seemed to work", he told Sky News.
