A US man has used his mobile to capture the moment when a car being driven on the wrong side of the road was involved in a dramatic head-on collision.
Alan Fanning said he immediately started filming when he saw the car going down the wrong way on Highway 49.
The incident happened in Collins, a small town about 60 miles from Jackson, the state capital of Mississippi.
The video shows numerous cars swerving to avoid a crash with the oncoming vehicle, but inevitably one car was hit.
Mr Fanning told the Huffington Post the wrong-way driver "was all over the road".
Mr Fanning added: "He ran some cars off the road and I was blowing the horn and everything and my wife called 911.
"He didn't respond. He was out of it and then he cut across a turning lane, ran a red light and began going north in the southbound lanes."
A mother and daughter were in the the Ford SUV that the driver hit - but fortunately neither was injured.
The erratic car driver - who suffered a broken shoulder - has been charged with reckless driving and having no proof of insurance.
