A new trailer shows off the superb 'new look' of hit game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as it returns as an app for Android and iPhone on December 6th.

The Eighties-tinged Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was a huge hit for the series in 2002 - and gaming sites often hail it as the best GTA game, full stop.

The game was the best-selling PlayStation 2 title of all time in America, as of July 2006.

It has now sold more than 17.5 million copies.

The game is being rereleased as an app for Android and iOS, to mark the game’s 10th anniversary - and will come out on December 6th.

The game, set in a thinly disguised version of Miami, has a soundtrack featuring 80s hits from artists such as Michael Jackson – and scores 95% on game-rating site Metacritic.

The new version will offer improved firing and targeting controls – and a customised control layout for touchscreens.

The game will also work on iPad and on most newer Android tablets including the Google Nexus 7 and the new models of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab.

On iOS, it’ll also support Retina displays – although it’ll only work on newer iPhone models.
