A man who destroyed his house in an unfortunate tree-cutting accident is not a lumberjack… and he’s not OK.

The man had been hacking away at a large conifer in his front garden when disaster struck.

Taking an axe to the tree trunk, the man unfortunately drove a wedge at the wrong angle.

The DIY enthusiast can be heard emitting an expletive as the tree crashes down on his property.

The horrified handyman then groans: “My house… my bedroom!”

The clip, aptly named ‘how not to chop down a tree’, has provoked a big reaction on YouTube from armchair tree surgeons.
