Aboriginal girl group glitter in "The Sapphires"

The film “The Sapphires”, sees Chris O’Dowd form a Aboriginal girl group that performs for American troops fighting in the Vietnam War in the 1960’s. The cast was at the BFI London Film Festival. The movie is based on a true story and on a successful 2005 play of the same name. Directed by Wayne Blair it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last May and opened in Australia in August.
