Depardieu seeks tax exile in Belgium

The Belgian village of Nechin is to become home to actor Gerard Depardieu who is the latest Frenchman to leave his native country for tax reasons. After a series of tax hikes introduced by Socialist President Francois Hollande, the “Asterix” star has bought a house and is considering taking up residency in the country which does not have a wealth tax.
