Haiti protests over UN presence and government

There have been protests on the streets of Port au Prince. Thousands of Haitians turned out to demonstrate against the government of President Martin Martelly and the continuing presence of UN troops on the island. Activists banged on drums an d chanted for change. The authorities responded with tear gas.
