Rehearsals in Vienna for traditional New Year show

The Vienna Philharmonic rehearses its traditional New Year's concert, conducted for the second time by Vienna Opera music director Franz Welser-Moest. The concert at the Musikverein's Golden Hall will be broadcast live on radio and television to 81 countries on January 1 and feature 11 pieces never before performed at the concert, including tributes to composers Richard Wagner and Giuseppe Verdi, both of whom will celebrate major anniversaries in 2013.
