It will be a fine and dry night for many, but a band of rain in the far south-west will spread across much of Ireland, south Wales and south west England by morning.

That rain will spread to the rest of Britain on Tuesday, although it will not amount to much in the south.

But north eastern parts will have a sunny morning, with just a chance of a shower.

A few showers will follow to the south later as well.
