TV presenter Ball in film set crash

TV presenter Zoe Ball escaped getting hit by a speeding car after an elderly driver crashed into a camera crew - narrowly missing the star.

The 37-year-old - who is married to Fatboy Slim DJ Norman Cook - was filming for a charity campaign in Brighton on Friday, when the set was bulldozed by an out of control vehicle.

The driver of the Rover 200 car is believed to have accidentally pressed the accelerator pedal instead of the break, causing him to smash into the film crew.

Ball, 37, escaped with cuts and bruises while a cameraman and a photographer were hospitalised.
