McCartney's marriage officially over

Sir Paul McCartney's marriage to Heather Mills has officially ended.

A judge at the High Court in London pronounced a decree nisi on Monday.

Neither the former Beatle or Mills were in court to learn their marriage had been terminated.

McCartney and Mills reached a divorce settlement in March when a London court awarded Mills GBP24,3 million.

The couple split in May 2006 and have a four-year-old daughter, Beatrice.
