Winehouse offered GBP1 million Russian gig

Troubled star Amy Winehouse has reportedly been offered GBP1 million to perform a private show at a Russian art gallery.

The Back To Black singer was asked by Daria Zhukova, the girlfriend of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, to sing in front of a select group of art fans at the new gallery she has founded in Moscow.

Winehouse will sing at the Center for Contemporary Culture in September, and is thought to have been offered a six-figure sum for her appearance, reports The Daily Telegraph.

It is not the first time the star has been hired for a lucrative private concert - she was reportedly paid (GBP500,000 to appear at a Louis Vuitton catwalk show in Paris, France in February.
