Of Brunswick Road, Buckley. Passed away peacefully at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital on Tuesday, 14th May 2024, aged 88 years. Beloved husband of Joan, devoted dad of Kirsten, Sian and David. Dean of Chester (1987-2001) and distinguished theologian. Stephen died peacefully at Chapel Fields Care Home, Frodsham, on Pentecost Sunday 19th May 2024, aged 93. Devoted husband to the late Sue Smalley, much loved father to Jovian and Evelyn, and beloved Grandpa to Caitlin, Grace and Samuel Stephen. The funeral will be held at Chester Cathedral on Thursday 13th June 2024 at 10:30am, followed by a committal at Chester Crematorium. No black, please. Family flowers only.
