A 101-year-old great-grandmother is among those in the latest funeral notices from the Leicester Mercury. Rene Jones was a resident at Amberwood Care Home in Wigston and she passed away last month.
She was described by her family as a "beloved wife and much loved mother", as well as a loving grandmother and great grandmother. The funeral notices also include Florence Richmond, who had reached the grand old age of 99 and will be "deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her".
