The 15…Make that 9 ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Couples Who Are Still Together

When it comes to dating shows, it doesn’t always work out for the couples involved—like Aaron Clancy and Tia Booth, who recently met and then called it quits on Bachelor in Paradise.

While The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have a decent number of success stories, we were surprised to learn that BiP actually has a pretty good track record, even with only seven seasons under its belt. Not only did the latest installment result in three engagements, but it also produced a few other relationships—like Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer, who are returning to the “real world” as an official (non-engaged) couple.

So, which pairs are still together? Here’s a complete list of BiP couples who managed to make it work—and six who didn’t.

1. Kenny Braasch & Mari Pepin

Status: Engaged

After meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, Kenny Braasch popped the question during the season seven finale. “Getting engaged, it’s insane,” he said. “This was never something I wanted to do but what makes the whole thing easier is that it’s Mari.”

2. Riley Christian & Maurissa Gunn

Status: Engaged

Viewers probably recognize Riley Christian and Maurissa Gunn as the couple who created the whipped cream game. During the finale, Riley made their relationship official by getting down on one knee following a successful Fantasy Suite date. “You’re my person,” Maurissa said. “You are my person and I know that. I know that 1,000 percent.”

3. Joe Amabile & Serena Pitt

Status: Engaged

Despite their 12-year age difference, Joe Amabile proposed to Serena Pitt on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise. (He even received the blessing of his ex, Kendall Long. #Awkward)

4. Dylan Barbour & Hannah Godwin

Status: Engaged

After catching feelings for both Dylan and Blake, Hannah found herself in a love triangle on season six of Bachelor in Paradise. In the end, she chose Dylan, who proposed during the finale. It appears things are going well, since Hannah recently moved to California, which is where Dylan lives.

5. Kevin Wendt & Astrid Loch

Status: Engaged

This one’s a confusing one, since Kevin broke up with Astrid in the season five finale. However, the pair reconnected shortly after the show aired. They announced their engagement in August 2019.

6. Dean Unglert & Caelynn Miller-Keyes

Status: Married?

After a rocky start to their relationship, Dean convinced Caelynn to leave BiP to continue their romance. After the show, they happily dated and even traveled the U.S. in the infamous van. Many believe they secretly tied the knot months ago, since Dean low-key confirmed that he’s a married man during a promo for The Lovebirds movie.

7. Adam Gottschalk & Raven Gates

Status: Married

The couple hit it off during season four of the ABC series. Although Adam didn’t propose in paradise, he popped the question two years later. Worth the wait, indeed.

8. Jared Haibon & Ashley Iaconetti

Status: Married

You probably remember Ashley as the girl who cried and cried (and cried) about Jared during two seasons of the dating series. Although we originally thought that it would never happen, Jared eventually had a change of heart.

The couple announced they were dating in May 2018, followed by their engagement one month later. In August 2019, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Rhode Island.

9. Tanner Tolbert & Jade Roper

Status: Married

One of the most memorable couples, Jade and Tanner got engaged on season two of Bachelor in Paradise and tied the knot in an on-air wedding in 2016. They have a daughter named Emmy (3) and a son named Brooks (1), who accidentally arrived in the family’s master closet.

10. Evan Bass & Carly Waddell

Status: No longer together

Carly wasn’t originally interested in Bass—that is, until he faked an illness on the show, and she accompanied him to the hospital. Bass got down on one knee during the season three finale, and the pair tied the knot in a televised wedding the following year. They share two children together: daughter Isabella (3) and son Charlie (1).

In December 2020, the couple announced that they’re calling it quits. “We tried for a really long time to make it work,” Waddell said in a YouTube video. “We focused a lot more on the kids than we focused on ourselves and ultimately I think that was probably our biggest downfall. The kids came at the top of the pyramid and we never put ourselves at the top.”

11. Chris Randone & Krystal Nielson

Status: No longer together

The former villains, somehow dubbed “Glitter Goose,” found each other on season five of BiP. They tied the knot in a Mexican ceremony, which was officiated by Chris Harrison on ABC. After eight months as husband and wife, they announced their separation.

“It hurts to announce that at this moment, we have mutually decided to separate,” they said in a joint statement. “Never did we imagine this scenario, but we’ve come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves. We are best friends that love and care for each other so deeply. We’ve appreciated everyone’s love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this.”

12. Joe Amabile & Kendall Long

Status: No longer together

Although the pair moved in together after the show concluded, they later announced that they were calling it quits. The pair released a joint statement and revealed that Joe is moving back to Chicago to be closer to his family.

“We have decided mutually to go our separate ways. Joe has made the decision to move back to Chicago while Kendall will be remaining in her hometown of Los Angeles,” the statement read. “Our family and friends have always been an extremely important element to who we are as people. We can’t imagine continuing our lives without them closer, especially when thinking of starting a family of our own one day.”

13. Chris Bukowski & Katie Morton

Status: No longer together

After a six-month engagement, the couple called it quits in December 2019. They released a joint statement on their individual Instagram accounts, which read: “We’ve reached a point in our story where we agree it’s best to go our separate ways. We have chosen to love and respect each other as friends because that’s the base of our relationship, and it’s what is most natural for us.”

14. Demi Burnett & Kristian Haggerty

Status: No longer together

They made history as the first same-sex couple to appear on BiP. Demi popped the question during the season six finale, and Kristian returned the favor in the reunion special.

In October 2019, they announced their split on Instagram and wrote, “We ultimately want what is best for us in the long run and for us right now, that means being apart and growing individually.”

15. John Paul Jones & Tayshia Adams

Status: No longer together

Although the couple confirmed their relationship in September 2019, they called it off one month later.

Tayshia announced the news on Instagram and wrote, “We truly did the best we could, but at this time have decided that what is best for the both of us is to go our separate ways. We are the best of friends and will continue to remain in each other’s life because regardless of the situation, we make each other happy.”
