EastEnders is currently having a moment, having kicked off the year with some huge storylines – and a flashforward teaser too.
As we look to the future, there's plenty more drama to come, with new faces, new storylines, new relationships and some huge new twists thrown in as well.
Here's our full guide to the biggest spoilers for the rest of the year, all in one place.
1. Stacey's new story
A struggling Stacey has had a difficult start to 2023, and her problems are far from over yet.
After learning that her 12-year daughter Lily was pregnant, Stacey has been hit by an abundance of financial problems and will turn to a loan shark in upcoming episodes to get by.
With her financial woos mounting, Stacey has been tipped for a new story, which will see her find a new way to make ends meet. The Sun reports that Stacey will set up an account on OnlyFans in future scenes. An EastEnders insider said: “Stacey is really struggling at the moment and will do whatever she can for her family.”
Show boss Chris Clenshaw had previously hinted at a new direction for Stacey, saying: "Not only has Stacey been dealing with the rising cost of living, but also struggling to keep her pregnant daughter out of harm's way. This year Stacey finds herself doing something she's never done before in an effort to protect her family and unborn grandchild.
2. Rocky's past catches up with him
Kathy might be dreaming of wedding bells next week, but fans already know that her nuptials to Rocky will not be going off without a hitch.
We already know that Vicki Michelle has been cast in the role of Rocky's mysterious wife Jo, who will no doubt be throwing a spanner in the works when it comes to his future plans.
As Jo heads to Albert Square, Rocky is in for a shock as his shady past catches up with him.
"I'm so excited to be in EastEnders and everyone has been so lovely," said Vicki. "Jo Cotton is a great character and it is such a great story. I can't wait for the audience to meet her."
Clenshaw added: "Vicki is the perfect fit to take on the elusive character of Rocky's wife that we know very little about.
"Brash, quick-witted, and extremely glamorous, Jo is akin to her long-lost husband, Rocky and as you would expect she is immediately thrown into the heart of the drama when she arrives in Walford."
3. Sharon's big decision
We know she'll be getting married by the end of the year, but Sharon has some big decisions to make between now and then.
New EastEnders teasers have suggested that Sharon will be facing a big decision about her love life by the end of the month, but whether this involves Keanu remains to be seen.
"Just as quickly as Sharon and Keanu reunited, she discovered that he and Sam have history too, leaving Sharon newly single", Clenshaw said recently. "However, as we know, Sharon's wearing a wedding dress at Christmas, so watch out for many twists, turns, and plenty of heartbreak along the way."
Sharon has more than just romance on her plate in the coming weeks as well, as she prepares to open a revamped boxing gym with Kat and Phil. But with so much history between them, will all go to plan?
4. Alfie's new romance?
Alfie's been keeping a low profile since finally deciding to give up on pursuing a reunion with Kat, but his love life could take an unexpected turn later this month.
Short spoilers for later this month reveal that Alfie will be having a heart to heart with Sam, while a further teaser has hinted that someone has their eye on him. But is it Sam, or another Walford resident?
5. The Queen Vic's fate revealed
It's the question everyone has wanted to know since Christmas: just what is going to happen to The Queen Vic?
While the Panesars and Sharon have all shown an interest in buying Janine's share of the pub, Linda's surreptitious call has suggested that the new owner could be someone outside of the box.
"Linda's world was thrown upside down by seeing a photo of Shirley with Dean, but she’s forced to focus on who her new business partner will be or face losing her home", Clenshaw explained last month.
"Both Sharon and Nish are hoping to get the keys to the castle, but her knight in shining armour may not be who you think."
Speculation has ramped up more recently with reports that Strictly Come Dancing star Molly Rainford could be joining the cast of EastEnders
The Sun suggests that Molly has landed an EastEnders role as the daughter of a new family moving into Walford to take over the Queen Vic later this year.
The BBC declined to comment about this when reached by Digital Spy.
6. Emma's exit
Emma has insidiously managed to infiltrate herself into every aspect of Lola's life since turning up out of the blue in January, but the longevity of her commitment to this will be called into question in future episodes.
When the severity of Lola's illness begins to hit home with her, Emma's behaviour will spark concern with Jay, who is determined to protect his wife from further heartbreak.
We already know that Jay will be delivering Emma an ultimatum next week, but what will this mean for her future on the show?
Pasty Kensit confirmed last month that she'd finished filming on EastEnders, suggesting that Emma's exit will be playing out over the next few weeks.
7. Lola's death
We already know that Lola's days are numbered but recent spoilers have suggested that her tragic exit could be even sooner than we think.
Lola was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour last year, and has been determined to make the most of the time she has left ever since.
But sadly, it seems that Lola's untimely demise could be creeping up on us. Upcoming scenes will see Lola hit by more devastating news, while the show's recent flashforward scene showed her tribute picture of Lola on the bar, suggesting that she won't make it to Christmas.
It's already been confirmed that Danielle Harold is being written out of the role after 12 years.
8. Denise caught out
Denise is currently going to desperate lengths to keep her brief dalliance with Ravi a secret, but it won't be staying that way for long.
Fans should expect plenty of twists and turns over the coming week as the Denise's world descends into a car crash, with repercussions far and wide.
Denise is also one of The Six Walford females taking centre stage in a jaw-dropping twist this Christmas, and Clenshaw has already promised 'explosive action' when Jack discovers the truth about her betrayal.
"Denise's marriage to Jack is crumbling and local villain Ravi has had his eye on her for weeks now", he said. "Expect explosive action when Jack discovers what's been going on."
9. Suki's secret revealed?
Much like Denise, Suki is another one of The Six carrying a major secret.
Having spent the past few months being manipulated by her controlling husband Nish, Suki finally decided to follow her heart and pursue her feelings for lover Eve. But, as we all know, secrets like this don't stay a secret for long in Walford...
Clenshaw teased: "As the year progresses, Suki will uncover truths, have her relationships tested but ultimately her biggest secret could push her to the extreme."
10. New story for Ben?
He's had a quieter few months on screen recently, but fans think that a new hard-hitting storyline could be on the way for Ben.
Recent episodes have seen his husband Callum show concerns regarding Ben's drinking, sparking speculation on Twitter that this could be a sign of things to come.
It remains to be seen whether this is the case, but either way, Ben will be determined (yet again) to prove himself to dad Phil at the opening of the boxing gym later in the month, with potentially disastrous results.
11. Keanu's arrest
Keanu will find himself on the wrong side of the law, in scenes to air later in the spring.
New filming pictures have revealed that Keanu will land himself in more trouble, as the police turn up at his son Albie's christening.
Keanu will arrive at the church for Albie's big day, unaware that his van has been followed by the police, who then search the vehicle while he's in the building.
He's later arrested, with the pictures showing Keanu being cuffed away by the cops in front of a horrified Sharon. But why is Keanu in trouble and what will this mean? All will become clear over the next few weeks.
12. Flashforward victim revealed
Of course, many of this year's story strands are building towards the highly-anticipated flashforward reveal, which we already know involves a death.
With the scenes set to air in December, fans still have a lengthy wait until then but there's still plenty to keep us occupied for the time being.
