Yahoo News All 13 original TOWIE stars – where are they now?
Ever think TOWIE's changed a lot over the years? You are not alone.
Since the show first launched seven years ago, pretty much every single original cast member has quit. The only star from series one you'll catch popping up on the ITVBe series these days is Lauren Pope – and even she took a two-year break.
So what the heck happened? Where did everybody go?
Here, we reveal the latest on all 13 original TOWIE stars.
1. Lauren Goodger
We're not sure what moisturiser Lauren uses, but she looks younger now than she did seven years ago! Although she's no longer a full-time cast member, Lauren still makes the occasional appearance on TOWIE and has also featured in a string of other reality shows includingCelebrity Big Brother. However, most of the time, she's busy working on her fake-tan range Lauren's Gold.
2. Lauren Pope
Lauren is now one of the most elegant ladies in TOWIE, so it's difficult to believe that picture on the left is even her – but it is. Before she was tagging along with pal Vas J Morgan to A-list parties, Lauren worked as a glamour model and was a huge fan of fake tan and hoop earrings. Thankfully, her style has come a long way since then. She's very much still part of team TOWIE and this series, viewers will witness the dramatic aftermath of her breakup from Jon Clark.
3. James Argent
Arg took some time off from TOWIE following his break-up with on-off girlfriend Lydia Bright. But now, he's back as a permanent fixture on the ITVBe series. He's also featured in a number of other reality shows too including E4 series Celebs Go Dating, The Jump, Celebrity Super Spa and Celebrity Ghost Hunt.
4. Lydia Bright
It's just as well Lydia waited a few years to open her Essex fashion boutique Bella Sorrella after joining TOWIE. Judging from that pic on the left, we're not sure too sure she would have been many people's go-to person for style tips. Now though, following one incredible transformation, business is booming for Lydia and she's even got her own fashion blog. She's no longer part of the TOWIE crew but fans can still watch her on E4's Celebrity Five Star Hotel.
5. Amy Childs
Amy was the first TOWIE favourite to pack her bags and quit the show after becoming an overnight celebrity – and it looks like she made the right decision. Since then, Amy has gone on to land her own reality show, starred in programmes like Celebrity Big Brother and has launched several businesses including her own fashion and beauty ranges. She's now said to be worth £5 million. Last year, she welcomed her first child Polly, whose father is her ex-boyfriend Bradley Wright.
6. Harry Derbidge
After quitting TOWIE for the second time in 2014, Harry has made the occasional appearance on Loose Women and This Morning but has noticeably kept away from the limelight. He tried to follow in the footsteps of his cousin Amy by launching a boutique near her shop in Essex, however, he closed the store last year when its lease expired and now runs online sunglasses brand Forever on Trend. Perhaps it's time he made a TOWIE comeback?
7. Sam Faiers
Sam's life has changed dramatically since she first appeared on our screens back in 2010. After leaving TOWIE three years ago, she's became a mum to baby Paul and recently welcomed her second child with boyfriend Paul Knightley, baby Rosie. Like her close pal Amy, she went on to sign up for Celebrity Big Brother, landed her own hit reality series The Mummy Diaries – which is now in its third season – and has her own fashion line. Not bad, Ms Faiers!
8. Mark Wright
The years have been good to Mark. Not only has his widow's peak completely vanished since leaving TOWIE, he's now settled down and happily married to actress Michelle Keegan, best known for Coronation Street and Our Girl. His presenting career is doing pretty well too. After ditching reality TV, he landed his own radio show on Heart FM, has become the face of Take Me Out: The Gossip and he works full-time across the pond with Mario Lopez on hit US show Extra
9. Billie Faiers
Billie originally joined the show to support her little sister Sam during her on-off fling with Mark. But she ended up staying on the show long after her sibling left, before eventually quitting herself last year. She and fiancé Greg Shepherd welcomed their second child Arthur a few months ago and since then, she's joined the cast of The Mummy Diaries and also heads up her own women and children's clothing lines.
10. Kirk Norcross
Kirk was a TOWIE original, but only stayed for three years. We still remember him though because he's been on a host of other reality shows since then, including Celebrity Big Brother and Ex on the Beach. Sadly, his relationship with on-off love interest Amy Childs never did work out, but that's okay as he's now settled with girlfriend Danielle Louise Carr and is a father of two.
11. Jessica Wright
After going through hell and back with ex-boyfriend Ricky Rayment, Jessica left TOWIE in early 2016. Following her departure, she worked on getting in better shape than ever before going on to launch her own health and fitness programme. She also has her own fashion range and is the face of celebrity clothing brand Sistaglam. On top of that, she's also now dating Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice – Ricky who?
12. Maria Fowler
Maria left TOWIE not too long after she was cruelly dubbed "just a f**king extra" by Kirk. Since then, she's taken a step back from TV but continues to regularly post on social media. She now works as a make-up artist with her own beauty blog, and launched her own range of brushes in 2015.
13. Lucy Mecklenburgh
Lucy is probably one of TOWIE's biggest success stories. After quitting the show and finally dumping Mario Falcone once and for all, she established herself as a serious businesswoman and is now in a happy relationship with Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas after their stint on The Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls. In between appearing on TV shows, Lucy heads up a fashion boutique in Essex and has her own health and fitness company called Results with Lucy.
