There are certain words and phrases that only someone from Liverpool would use. If you’ve ever visited the city, chances are you’ve heard locals say things that left you completely puzzled.
Scouse is one of the most distinctive and easily recognisable accents in the world. People across the UK can quickly identify even the faintest hint of a Scouse tone, and the accent is familiar to many even outside the UK.
Everyone has their favourite Scouse sayings but there are certain phrases that have fallen out of fashion since our parents and grandparents were using them. Liverpool nans often come out with cracking one liners and this is something that will never change.
