Now that most people have had a chance to watch 13 Reasons Why, the question turns to... will there be a season two?
Even though the first season brought Hannah Baker's story to a close, there were enough loose threads to suggest that a follow-up could very well be on the cards – and some of the stars of the popular Netflix drama would certainly be up for it.
"I honestly did not realise how much was going to be left open at the end," Dylan Minnette (Clay) told Entertainment Weekly. "I think that there's potential to know more about these characters, and I think that there are good stories to be told.
"I think that [writer Brian Yorkey] and these writers could tell some pretty amazing stories [for season two]. Whatever they write, I'm in.
"I just trust everyone so much that they're not going to do it unless they find it necessary and they think they have great stories to tell."
Ross Butler (Zach) – who also stars in Riverdale – agreed.
"I'm hoping for a second season," he said. "I think there's so much more to tell. I'm just crossing my fingers."
Justin Prentice (Bryce) added: "I definitely want to see all of the characters. There's a lot of story left for all of these guys. So, it'll be interesting to see kind of what happens in the fallout.
"I think we as a cast are dying just as much to figure out what happens."
Book author Jay Asher previously said that he would be very interested in a second season (even though the original novel didn't get a sequel) – pointing to a number of unresolved storylines as a possible launching point.
"I'm curious," he said. "What happens to Clay? How do people react to what Alex did at the very end? What's going to happen to Mr Porter?
"I'd thought of a sequel at some point. I'd brainstormed it, but decided I wasn't going to write it. So I'd love to see it."
