That hasn't stopped Netflix from greenlighting a third season of the show, and while we can expect to see how the lives of Liberty High's students continue, the question has been whether Hannah Baker will still be appearing following her suicide in season one.
Before the third season was officially announced, showrunner Brian Yorkey said the character was "probably done," while actress Katherine Langford has been saying things like "she may be gone," which sounds like a goodbye to us - but some fans thought she was being intentionally vague.
Well, now that actress has confirmed that she won't be appearing in season three, telling Jimmy Kimmel Live! host Jimmy Kimmel that the character is "wrapped."
Jimmy posited the idea of her coming back to life, either as zombie or through some magical resurrection a la Jon Snow from Game of Thrones while two chatted on his late night show this week.
As funny as the idea was, neither Katherine nor anyone thinks that this teen drama is suddenly going to change genre to feature the undead munching on people's brains.
