Cruz Beckham has been compared to a young Justin Bieber, after mum Victoria posted a video of him singing on her Instagram account.

Sharing the video with her 20 million followers, the former Spice Girl, 44, posted the short video of her third-born child, singing a new song by the youngster himself, and captioned it ‘kisses’.

She also tagged in Rodney Jerkins, an acclaimed songwriter and music producer, as a cheeky nod to boost his music career after the reception to the clip went down a storm.

People were generally complimentary at the teenager’s singing talents, posting a long list of positive comments, such as ‘just like mum,’ ‘Talented… got that from mummy,’ and ‘You are a very talented young man. Keep singing!’

Cruz, 13, who is the youngest of the Beckham brothers behind Romeo, 15, and Brooklyn, 19, was even compared to Justin Bieber.

Observations like ‘He so reminds me of the younger @JustinBieber’, ‘Here comes a Justin Bieber he’s so talented bless his journey!’ and ‘A new Justin Bieber’ littered the comments section.

Apparently, Cruz has decided to go down the music route on his own accord, after people blasted parents Victoria and David, 42, for allegedly pushing him into the singing spotlight.

Speaking to Good Morning America, former footballer and England hero David said that simply wasn’t the case. After embarking on singing ventures over the past few years – including working with Jerkins on If Every Day Was Christmas back in 2016 – dad Dave shared how important education was to his son:

‘Cruz came for us very recently and said, “How about I do a Christmas song and all the proceeds go to charity?”‘ ‘There’s nothing more to this than that at the moment. He’s 11-years-old, he’s still at school, he’s still concentrating at school, that’s the most important thing but he wanted to give back.’
