Broad Street brewery The Brasshouse is renowned as being one of Birmingham’s best traditional pubs. The pubs has a great atmosphere and does a cracking Sunday roast. It also has good ‘cheap beer’ according to customers on Google. The cheapest pints can range between £4 and £5.
O’Neill’s on Broad Street is a great venue to gather with friends and enjoy pints. The bar recently underwent a makeover and has new offers, including lunch and an alcoholic drink from £7. One TripAdvisor reviewer wrote: “Great pints of Guinness as per usual. Was pretty surprised how cheap it was for a city centre pub.”
This iconic Birmingham pub tucked away on Temple Street is a great drinking spot for all occasions and is said to be cheap and cheerful, according to regular customers. It serves three regular beers as well as craft beer and cider. Posting on TripAdvisor, one person said: “Met with colleagues for a few drinks after a meeting. Cheap and cheerful. Tucked away on Cannon Street, The Windsor is a cosy local pub serving affordable food and drink. They currently offer pizza and a drink, with the option of a crisp pint of Guinness for £8.75. One TripAdvisor reviewer said: “Decent bar, decent location, decent staff. Nice food and cheap and cheerful, nice location for work drinks.”
The Sacks of Potatoes is a traditional pub set in the heart of the Aston University campus. They have a wide cask ale range with six real ales and three ciders available on the hand pulls, as well as two craft ales, all for excellent prices, with a deal on for a free cask ale pint after any six are purchased. One reviewer wrote: “They have excellent prices for all beer, ale, gin, brandy cocktails; the list is endless. It’s cheap for all drinks and they have amazing games every night of the week. It’s not about the price of beer, it’s the amazing atmosphere and friendly staff, and it’s spotlessly clean.”
