Customers at 15 Wetherspoon pubs in and around Nottingham will be able to buy a pint for as little as £1.79 as the chain launches new food and drink offers. A pint of Ruddles Best will set punters back £1.79 whilst a single measure of Bell's whisky will be priced at just £1.25.

Other bargains included in the price cut include a pint of Worthington's Creamflow ale from £1.86 and a pint of Stowford Press Apple Cider for just £1.99. The pubs taking part will also have two food offers available under the new scheme, which begins on Wednesday (September 18).

Food offers include a mix and match wings offer, which entails bites and strips with a choice of chicken wings, chicken bites, Southern-fried chicken strips and Quorn nuggets. The plates will cost £2.99 each, two for £5.49 and three for £7.49.
