Rebecca Ferguson blasts Zayn Malik and Gigi's raunchy video

You know that old saying about mixing business and pleasure? Clearly Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid don’t.

And the ex-One Direction singer’s old flame Rebecca Ferguson reckons he’s made a big, big mistake by filming the raunchy Pillowtalk video with his model girlfriend – and says it’ll come back to bite them both on the backside.

“I wouldn’t get a boyfriend in a music video. What if you split up and then you’re haunted by that video!” Rebecca told The Daily Star.

“Imagine having to watch that with your husband! – J-Lo had that with Ben Affleck. No, I couldn’t run that risk. Mixing my love life with my career is something I don’t do.”

Hmmm, she’s got a point, hasn’t she?

Soul singer Rebecca, who was runner up to Matt Cardle on The X Factor back in 2010, says she avoids mixing her work with her love life.

She dated Zayn for four months, when the couple raised many an eyebrow on account of their age difference. Rebecca is eight years older than Zayn, which would obviously be OK if it were the other way round, wouldn’t it?

“When I was in a relationship with Zayn it was quite hard, but it comes with it,” she previously said about their fling. “Me and Zayn just grew apart. I wish him all the best.”

The couple dated before Zayn’s much-publicised relationship with Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, and Rebecca says she has nothing but fondness for the 23-year-old star.

“I’m very proud of him, his music is amazing and his girlfriend is beautiful,” she told The Sun.
