19 of the world’s most Instagrammable hotels
Have you ever looked through your ‘saved’ folder on Instagram before? One look through mine returns a mood board for destinations yet to be travelled.
As a travel-lover, my Instagram feed has become filled with luxe-looking travel pictures that evoke a longing to visit these destinations – and I know I’m not alone.
Instagram-fuelled tourism has taken over the millennial psyche with many people travelling to places they’ve seen on the ‘gram in order to get their own magical shot.
Take Trolltunga for example, located in Odda, Norway this cliff that juts out of the mountain now has lines of tourists all waiting to get the same picture – in fact visitors to Trolltunga increased from 500 per year in 2009 to 40,000 in 2014.
Around 80 million photos are shared on Instagram each day and it’s clearly fuelling our travel appetite, so with this in mind, below are some of the most Instagrammable hotels in the world.
