200-Foot-Long Rainbow Flag Marched Down Philadelphia During Pride Festival

A 200-foot-long pride flag was carried in the Philadelphia Pride March and Festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 4.

Video filmed by Kory Aversa shows a long line of people holding up the rainbow flag on either side as they march while chanting, “Trans rights are human rights.”

The flag was described as being the largest ever pride flag in Philadelphia history.

“As an out and proud member of the community this brought tears to my eyes and I’m so proud of my city,” said Aversa. “After the pandemic got rid of so many pride celebrations we are back and bigger than ever and Philadelphia is leading the nation during challenging times out there,” he added.
