Yahoo News 2021 Acura RDX Getting Limited, Hand-Assembled PMC Edition
The 2021 Acura RDX will be offered in a limited-run PMC edition that will be hand-built at Acura's Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) in Ohio, alongside the NSX.
The RDX PMC Edition will sport the Thermal Orange Pearl paint seen on the electrified NSX and will combine aspects of the A-Spec and Advanced packages.
Deliveries for the RDX PMC edition will begin in October; it will be priced in the low $50,000s compared with the regular 2021 RDX's base price of $39,725.
For 2021, a limited run of the RDX is going to get the NSX treatment with a PMC edition complete with the Thermal Orange Pearl paint seen on the electrified NSX. These 2021 RDX PMC Editions will be hand-built at Acura’s Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) in Ohio and will be limited to just 360 examples, each of which gets an individually numbered serial plate on the console.
The RDX PMC edition will combine the best of the A-Spec and Advanced package features and also gains a PMC-edition look including black 20-inch alloy wheels and black chrome exhaust tips, among other black accents on the outside of the car, while orange stitching runs throughout the interior. It'll come standard with Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD).
The Acura RDX PMC edition will also have a 10.5-inch head-up display, 16-way power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated front and rear outboard seats. Acura said that deliveries of this special-edition RDX will begin in October, and pricing will run in the low $50,000s.
