2024 Live by the Levee summer concerts announced

Jan. 26—RUSHVILLE — A diverse range of national, regional and area talent will again be featured this summer as part of the 2024 Free Summer Concert Series at Riverside Park Amphitheater in Rushville, Ind.

"The annual Riverside Park summer concert series is a beloved and time-honored tradition we look forward to all year," Rushville Mayor Mike Pavey said. "The acts this season are sure to keep the excitement going all summer long and we can't wait to host concert goers from near and far."

EXCITABLE will open the series on Saturday, June 8. The group is made up of some of the greatest musicians in the southeast who have joined together to pay tribute to Def Leppard. The group will perform all of their timeless rock anthems. The Sweetwater Band will open the show.

* The Boy Band Night continues the series Saturday, June 15. This is a must-see show that will feature all the hits and all the moves from your boy band favorites including the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, One Direction, Jonas Brothers and more. Area favorite Lindsay Flannery will open the show.

Make plans to celebrate Creedence Clearwater Revival on Saturday, July 20, with Creedence Revived. Creedence Revived has rapidly become one of the most highly sought after tribute bands in the world. Playing all over the globe for crowds upwards of 30,000, and with a track-record of selling out shows everywhere they go, this group is the real deal. Rushville based group The Morgan After will open the show.

On Saturday, Aug. 10, Run Forrest Run (The Ultimate '90s Party) will perform. Get ready to sing and dance all night long as you party like it's 1999!! The opening act for this show is Ryan Broshear.

Experience the power and energy of the legendary sound of Queen with Absolute Queen on Saturday, Sept. 7. Absolute Queen has spent hundreds of hours in the studio studying Queen's many layered harmony vocals and instrumentation to bring you the most authentic sounding Queen live experience. The show is more than just a Queen Tribute band, the music and stage production will blow you away! Zach Comer and The Flatrockers will open the show.

To conclude the series, Boys in the Band — The Alabama Tribute is playing on Saturday, Sept. 21. In 1969 three cousins in Fort Payne, Alabama, joined their talents to create Down Home country music. They would change their name to Alabama, hit it big with their first number one record "Tennessee River," and the rest is history. Boys in the Band also hail from Fort Payne, Alabama, and aim to give the Alabama experience to lifelong fans and introduce the younger generations to the magic of Alabama's timeless music. The Alabama Tribute show is a high energy performance with note for note renditions of Alabama's live performances. The group Reckless Bound will open the show.

Sponsorship packages are available now from $5,000 to $500. Each sponsorship level will provide partners with different levels of advertisement. Also available are Friend of the Park sponsorship packages that run from $100 down to $25. Pavilion Rental and Vendor Permits

The covered pavilion is available for rent at each event. It can be rented for $150 for half of the space or $300 for the entire pavilion per event. Vendor permits are also available. About Riverside Park Amphitheater

Riverside Park Amphitheater is an outdoor music venue located at 100 W. Water Street in Rushville, Ind. The venue is a great concert destination annually hosting live music events and creating a great family-friendly environment with all performances taking place on Saturday evenings.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase. There is a beer garden on-site for adults over 21 years of age; however, no alcohol is to be brought into the park and all coolers are checked upon entry. Parking is conveniently available in gravel lots or in surrounding business lots with easy shuttle service to and from the amphitheater. Special handicap parking is also available.
