What could be more astonishing than finding out Prince Harry is actually marrying a woman named Rachel?

The Queen just gave her blessing to the betrothed couple yesterday, but instead of oo-ing and ahh-ing, the country had a completely different focus: the betrotheds' names.

The Queen declared that she had given her, “Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle,” a statement that left the rest of the nation scratching their heads.

Turns out, Meghan Markle’s real name is Rachel, although she hasn’t been called it in years. And yes, the charming Prince Harry’s full title is every bit as long as that you’d expect of a royal prince.
