27-year-old man dies in incident near retail park in Devon
A young man has died in an incident on a busy road near a retail park in Devon. Yesterday, Sunday, September 22, emergency services were called to Kingsteignton following reports of concern for a man near the junction of Greenhill Way and Priscott Way.
Officers were called at 9.21am to the A383 Greenhill Way, Kingsteignton, north of Newton Abbot. When emergency services attended the location, a 27-year-old man was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death will take place. His death is not being treated as a criminal matter.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall police said: "Police were called at 9.21am on Sunday 22 September to Greenhill Way, following reports of concern for the man near the junction at Priscott Way. Emergency services attended the location where the 27-year-old man was confirmed deceased.
"His next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and the corner has been informed."
The A383 was closed for around two hours, with slow traffic in the area as a result, particularly between the retail park and Woodmere Way. The incident had cleared and traffic had returned to normal by 1pm.
