3 people killed in single-vehicle crash outside Fredericton
Three people died in a single-vehicle car crash in Sheffield, N.B, early Sunday.
First responders were called to the crash site on Route 105 at 3:10 a.m., said Sgt. Stephane Esculier with Oromocto RCMP.
Upon arrival, RCMP and the Oromocto Fire Department found the vehicle to be engulfed in flames.
Investigators believe the vehicle was travelling east when it swerved off the road, hit a tree and caught fire.
Three people who were in the car were found dead, but police aren't able to identify the victims yet, Esculier said.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined. The investigation is ongoing.
