Has Simon Cowell already lined-up a wife for his son Eric?

Little Eric Cowell is barely two years old, but it sounds like his old man’s already got his life mapped out for him.

A month or so after suggesting admitting he’d actively encourage Eric to leave school at 16, it sounds like the X Factor star has already sorted him out with a partner, too.

The object of Eric’s affections is Coco, who just happens to be the daughter of Simon’s ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour.

Simon and Terri dated for six years until they split up in 2008 – but they’ve remained best of friends, and have even just gone on holiday together. As you do.

“Eric and Coco are madly in love with each other and Simon is convinced they’re going to get married,” Terri told Closer magazine.

“Eric calls Coco his girlfriend but they’re having a long-distance relationship. It’s funny as they’re apart so often as Eric spends so much time in the UK, but he’s also very loyal.

“Coco on the other hand isn’t so loyal and has another little boyfriend called Henry, so Eric had better get back in the picture as Henry is moving in there.”

Terri also said she expects 57-year-old Simon to start feeling broody again pretty soon, and thinks it may not be too long until we hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet in the X Factor corridors.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he has another one soon,” she says. “I think it would be good for him to have a little girl and for Eric to have a playmate.

“He has Coco but it isn’t the same as having a sibling. I’d say watch this space.”
