Wednesday night's TV highlights include some streaming service gems as nature documentary Welcome to Earth launches on Disney+ fronted by Will Smith, and hard-hitting opioid drama Dopesick also continues.

Over on Amazon Prime Video, the football documentaries continue, this time heading to Germany for FC Bayern Munich: Behind the Legend.

Will Smith shines a spotlight on some of the most mysterious and under-explored parts of our planet in this big budget nature documentary from Darren Aronofsky.

The six-part series launches tonight and will see Hollywood star Smith visiting volcanoes and deserts, and meeting some truly unusual creatures.

Another football team documentary comes to the streaming service, this time shining the spotlight on Bayern Munich.

Starting with the team's Champions League victory in 2020 and following the subsequent 2020/21 season, the series delves deeply into the inner workings of Bayern, from the players to the ground staff.

The hard-hitting drama series about the true story of the US addiction to opioid OxyContin continues with evidence being gathered against the FDA that the drug had caused large numbers of deaths from overdoses.
